Remember to bring slippers, a chapter book , and a favorite board game (that fits into your backpack) to school tomorrow. We have a fun, light-hearted day planned. It should be fun for everyone!
Today, we began drafting a new expository essay. Students are explaining how to be a good friend and completing their drafting at home this evening. I was really impressed to see them using their boxes and bullets to organize. Way to go fourth grade!
My homebase is excited about signing up for the PE endorsed Fuel Up to Play program. If we are the first homebase to have total participation, we'll receive a fruit and veggie party and be entered to win an opportunity for a pro athlete visit. Very cool! Dear Parents, On Friday, December 16, each 4th grade class is going to have a Book Exchange to celebrate the joy of reading. Participation is voluntary. If your child would like to participate, please do the following… · Buy a NEW chapter book for about $5.00. · Boys buy “boy books” and girls buy “girl books”. · Wrap the gift and label it for a boy or girl. · Bring the wrapped book to school by Wednesday, December 14.
